IT Finance Team Leader - Contract - France - French Speaking

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Initial contract is for 3 months with a highly probable extension to 6 months, and could even go for as long as 12months

TITLE: IT Finance Team Leader

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- SAP FI hands on and management experience
- a native/fluent French speaker but has also very good English
- He/she has around 15 years of experience in total, and 10 years in managing IT Finance teams/projects part of it in an international context.

PROJECT:

Client is an engineering service company, focused on engineering services. This role is for projects within the internal IT organisation. The Comp Centre in the IT organisation maintains and builds business apps for internal use, one app is SAP. Also use other S/W, other applications, esp FI apps, cash mgt apps. This role involves responsibility for the SAP Fi module, the main & projs around SAP FI Module and also around the cash mgt application. There will be two others reporting to this IT Finance Team leader.

ROLE: The IT Finance Team Lead is in charge of all IT topics related to Finance. He/She's the single point of contact for the business and manages the relationship with IT. As such the role consists in driving the IT projects portfolio related to Finance, drive the IT support activity related to all Finance IT solutions (SAP mainly, but also some Cash management solutions, and Banking communication solutions), drive the Continuous Improvement process on the IT processes & applications related to Finance, organize monthly IT/Finance steering committees. Reporting to the Head of Group Applications Management, the person needs to manage 2 IT specialists: one for Accounting/Treasury solutions, and one for Controlling solutions, and he/she has to monitor support delivered by external vendors. He/she has around 15 years of experience in total, and 10 years in managing IT Finance teams/projects part of it in an international context.

MUSTS:

SAP FI experience is essential.

Based locally in Paris ideally.

Ideally the person is a native/Fluent French speaker but has also very good English. Client is looking for a true manager with solid people management skills, communication, diplomacy with internal customers, solid project leading experience, and good technicalfinance with a strong business background. Role is not to do the customising.
