IT Finance Manager

For this global blue chip organisation we are looking for an IT Finance Manager. The IT Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Global IT Financial Controller to ensure the integrity, quality and timeliness of all London and Global IT Finance reporting, planning and forecasting, including generation and tracking of financial and headcount-related KPIs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Management Reporting (Monthly results)

In this role you will be required to ensure the accuracy of the IT management systems, as well as the timely and accurate preparation and distribution of consolidated monthly management accounts for Global IT.

You will provide timely and valued analysis, review of accounts, feedback and advice to the Global IT Cost Centre Managers. In addition you will be required to review for compliance with office policies, procedures and authorisation levels.

You will also prepare the month end Global IT Finance Report which goes to IT Directors and leaders summarising the IT results globally. You will be responsible for producing the report, the supporting schedules, timetable production, requesting and checking information and commentary from relevant parties.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- You will have an interest in IT, and have an appreciation of the drivers of cost within the IT environment, and of the financial controls needed to ensure the efficient operation of IT.
- You will have gained strong experience within an IT financial and/or management accounting role. With multi-currency accounting experience.
- You will have experience in preparing monthly financial and/or management reporting, performing financial accounting tasks and completing reconciliations.
- You have a proven ability to analyse and trouble shoot issues, provide dedicated support to managers, meet simultaneous deadlines and be used to a high volume of work.
- You will also be a team player who is well organised, have excellent attention to detail and be highly motivated and demonstrate a proactive and eager to learn attitude.
- You will be highly proficient in Excel, ideally with experience of Oracle and Hyperion Enterprise.
- Skills in budgeting, planning and project accounting would also be an advantage.
- You will have excellent analytical skills and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
