For our client, an international financial service provider located in Frankfurt/Main (Germany), we are currently looking for an IT Expert - Vendor Manager (m/w).

Location: Frankfurt am Main

Type of contract: unlimited permanent position direct with our client

Your key tasks:

* You will manage a portfolio of vendors and contracts for various IT services (infrastructure and applications) from initiation to contract award, compliance and renewal

* You will help to define and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs) in cooperation with various stakeholders

* You will create service level reports for internal clients and suppliers

* You will monitor compliance and assist with the analysis of SLA and OLA outcomes, as well as identify and take remedial action

* You will engage with the appropriate service areas to make sure that the ongoing quality of service delivered can be measured (data collection and analysis)

* You will be the interface between internal clients and suppliers and in addition a central point of contact for performance, risk, financial and administrative matters

* You will coordinate regular vendor service review meetings and regular reviews of service levels together with the relevant internal clients

* You will engage and collaborate with C-level management on opportunities and challenges ahead

Your profile:

* Masters degree in computer engineering, computer science and/or business administration or another relevant field

* Minimum about five years of professional experience with an IT portfolio, managing vendors, complex IT contracts and relationships

* Knowledge of other IT service management disciplines (e.g. ITIL) gained through working with different areas of a complex organisation

* Proven track record in business analysis (vendor-based metrics) and relationship management

* Knowledge of market trends in software, hardware, service and telecommunications contract and pricing models, service delivery and performance management, as well as innovations is desirable

* Experience of IT monitoring and reporting techniques/tools would be an asset

* Good understanding of project management methodologies and techniques as well as practical experience in public procurement is nice to have

* An ITIL Expert certification would be a plus

* Fluent English language skills written and spoken, additional languages would be a plus
