IT Engineer (Network/System/Infrastructure)

IT ENGINEER (NETWORK/SYSTEM/INFRASTRUCTURE)

ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineer with Networks and Infrastructure experience to work with our Telecommunications client in Dublin on a 6 month contract.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE IT ENGINEER:

- Network and system implementation and maintenance
- Network equipment configurations and deployment
- Network system troubleshooting
- Build EU IT infrastructure, including networks, Servers, server room, cabling, door access control/CCTV etc. IT service incident management, availability management, capacity management, continuity management, data backup and recovery etc.
- Helpdesk support for users, including desktop support, printer/fax machine support, IT training etc.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED OF THE IT ENGINEER:

- TCP/IP
- WAN
- LAN, VLAN, STP
- Routers and Switches
- Voice Solution design
- Windows Server Systems eg Active Directory
- SQL Server
- DNS
- SAN/NAS storage
