Description :
Two graduate IT Engineers/Software Developers are required by Eurostep Limited, a Microsoft partner. Eurostep are a software and consultancy company that works with major engineering organisations to enable the flow of technical information between and inside companies, across different IT systems and disciplines.
Eurostep () is a world leader in technical information collaboration and sharing with a ground breaking product Share-A-space(TM) that is successfully being deployed by major Engineering OEMs. We will provide training on Share-A-space(TM) and on the related technologies and standards for product data exchange that we use. The training will involve travelling to Sweden.
Eurostep Group has over 50 staff in Sweden, Finland, Germany, France and the UK. The positions will involve working on occasions with people and on projects from across Eurostep. Eurostep Limited currently has 8 staff with the UK head office in St. Asaph, Denbighshire. Although some staff work from home, the positions will be based in our St Asaph office for at least a year.
The successful candidates will work with their consultants to define, refine and implement sharing solutions across the product life cycle.
A typical project, led by a Eurostep consultant, will involve understanding a client's needs around technical data collaboration and helping set up demonstrations using our Share-A-space(TM) product, a state of the art web based engineering collaboration tool. The work involves some programming and some information analysis, plus use of web technologies and other development tools. Some time may be spent at customer sites.
As well as direct customer work and software sales, Eurostep participates in both UK Government and European research programmes.
These are permanent positions with a unique company, with a 6 month probation period.
The salary will be paid on a monthly basis.

Essential Requirements :
The successful candidate will be under 25 at the start of the Jobs Growth Wales vacancy, have an address in Walesand qualified to at least HND level.
You must also be prepare to travel overseas if necessary for work or training, and be looking for a permanent graduate position. The starting salary will be dependent on previous experience gained during study or during a year out, and reviewed at the end of the 26 week initial Jobs Growth Wales opportunity.

Desirable Requirements :
Eurostep Ltd are looking for two people with degree level education, ideally in engineering, computer science or science, who are willing to learn and keen to work with their team of expert consultants.
The following are the kind of skills and technologies that Eurostep use in their business:
.net and C# (Microsoft Visual Studio) and/or Java;
Web technologies such as: XML, HTML, CSS, XSLT;
UML and/or SysML modelling or analytical skills/expertise (such as data modelling and enterprise architectures, requirements analysis, systems engineering);
Product Data Management (PDM, PLM) and data exchange (such as STEP, JT), understanding of CAD and engineering analysis;
Microsoft Office experience.
