For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a

Professional IT Developer for regulatory PRIIPs initiative

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Location: Zurich

Skilled developer to Design and Develop complex applications and External website in support of PRIIPS program following best practices and formal methodologies.

Responsibilities

* Implement software covering the project life cycle, establishing and implementing stringent processes and procedures for designing, developing, testing and promoting code in compliance with company guidelines and industry best practices ensuring a maintainable solution

* Analyse user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

* Identify critical mission gaps, redundancies, and dependencies aligned with component impacts or costs.

* Ensure high standards and quality of technical solutions, keep abreast of technology developments and drives technology innovation where appropriate

Qualifications, Experience

* Experience in a team delivering all phases of the systems development life cycle and broad technology delivery, including custom & website development, through to production including production support

* Experience with injecting new technology into enterprise systems

* Experience with implementing enterprise level Public Websites

* Strong knowledge of Java, JSF, J2EE and Oracle development

* Hands on experience on web services, Java EE technologies.

* 5+ years' experience in Banking/Financial Industry:

- processes: trading & execution, advisorya critical eye is essential to shape the solution into an achievable and maintainable implementation
