IT Desktop Support

IT Support Technician required by an IT service provider to work onsite at one of the largest manufacturing organizations in the world. The role is based in Rolle, Switzerland which isn't to far from Geneva. You will become part of a team that provides global support to top level executives.

The role will involve you working with various support vendors to assist in the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, repair, and testing for site infrastructure equipment, including; network, desktop/laptop, Servers, printers and other peripherals.

You will be required to interface with customers to troubleshoot problems, gather information, provide guidance and coordinate activities. You will build strong virtual relationships with both vendors and end-users.

Skills required include:

*Hands on infrastructure support including networks, Servers, desktops and related peripherals
*Strong Windows desktop environment knowledge including troubleshooting and configuration
*Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
*Proactive in taking ownership of tasks and managing them to completion
