The Challenge

- Develop a highly desirable personal brand as a trusted advisor .
- Participate in and materially contribute in Demand Management activities that produce multi-million dollar saves which help achieve cost reduction targets set by our CFO.
- Due to the wide range of IT requirements and rapid pace of technological changes, parameters to evaluate technology spending proposals and commercial deals keep changing.
- Advancement opportunity. Potential for 'vertical' growth within the Demand Management and TS COO departments, the position exposes the candidate to a wide range of activities within the PBWM & SS IT departments

You would

- Act as a software Demand Manager for the Private Banking Wealth Management & Shared Services IT (PB/WM & SS IT) management team
- Manage internal client relationship by clearly understanding their book of work, and attain a trusted advisor status for commercial activities related to software spend
- Review all proposed technology investments from your clients and ensure that they are strategically aligned with PB/WM & SS IT' strategic goals.
- Develop annual deal calendar and updated quarterly, which includes new spend and existing commitments (eg maintenance renewals)
- Collaborate with product managers and other internal clients to plan and optimize their capital spending, support them to navigate through spend governance processes
- Partner with the Sourcingin analysing complex problems and devising/evaluating alternative solutions
- Effective listener skills and able to understand business concerns, requirements and negotiate mutually acceptable creative solutions
- Ability to see the big picture but equally comfortable and capable to delve into details
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a constructive manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English and ability to articulate complex scenarios simplistically
- Effectively summarize and present issues, options and recommendations to senior level managers and stakeholders
