Gazelle Global consulting is looking for an IT Data Infrastructure Ops Engineer
The job is located in Brussels for a bank company to work during 6 months as a contractor to begin ASAP. You must speak French and English fluently. If you speak Dutch it's an asset. Payrate depend on your profile.
Job description: IT Data Infrastructure Ops Engineer
The mission has different aspects:
* Master the multi-tier infrastructure of environments like AB Initio and Collibra
* Support and maintain different Data Analytics solutions like Python Jupyter Hub and R Studio. Install R Studio and Python packages and Life Cycle Management of different versions.
* Manage the Life Cycle Management and upgrade of solutions in place
* Advise and consultancy mission within Business teams
* Advise on source of improvement of current deployment and infrastructure
* Ensure Operational follow-up and user-support of solution deployed on Production
* In context of different POCs around Data, install and configure new (open-source) software on Linux server like R, Python, Neo4J. Install R and Python packages.Give administrator support on solutions in place for instance
- Maintain Windows server (follow update, reboot)
- Shared disk management.
- Load balancer testing
- Monitoring usage and load,
- Allocation of memory
- Performance and support follow-up
Expérience:
*At least 3 years of experience in Windows and Linux environment.
*A professional experience of at least 5 years.
*At least 3 years of experience in tooling and software administration and configuration
Technical Experience Mandatory:
*Good technical knowledge of Windows server (ability to install and administer Data infrastructure and Data Analysis tools on Windows and Linux Servers) including security, networking, memory monitoring.Very good technical knowledge of Linux server (installation, monitoring tools on Linux, security). Ability to install and administer new applications on Linux.Proven experience in deployment and administration of Client Server Data software.Security (LDAP) and networking (IDL, TCPIP).OS maintenance scripts and administration tools.Team player.Customer oriented.Communicative (with team members and with other colleagues, our clients & other partners).
*Linux/AIX server administration knowledge
Technical skills preferably:
*Python development
*Knowledge in R and Python installation
*Knowledge in SAS 9.4 Administration
