IT Customer Support Manager - CRB - 3 Months - Slough

Capita's public sector client is looking to secure the services of a Customer Support IT Manager on a 3 months contract starting ASAP.

Job role:

To lead the IT Customer Services to support the delivery of high quality day-to-day operational services.

To engage with key stakeholders in the planning and delivery of IT services (including AV) to ensure departments have modern and effective IT systems.

To create innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

To proactively engage with the customers to ensure that Service Level Agreement targets are achieved and that an excellent level of IT service is maintained.

To deputise for the IT Director and Systems Support as required and be a member of the IT Services Management Team.

Key Skills:

* At least one up-to-date Certification from Microsoft or Cisco or VMware or Dell or Hewlett Packard or willing to work towards
* Experience and good understanding of Microsoft Windows 7 or 8 Operating Systems and associated technologies
* Experience and good understanding of Microsoft Office 2010/ 2013 or Office 365 and associated technologies
* Experience and good understanding of Personal Computers, Laptops, Tablets and other Mobile Devices, their hardware, software, configuration and setup
* Experience and basic understanding of LAN/ WAN and Wireless networking hardware, software, configuration and setup
* Experience and basic understanding of Audio Visual (AV) and Information and Learning Technologies (ILT)
* Proven line management experience in a IT technical customer service and support environment
* Current CRB clearance
