IT Contracts Manager

Our client is looking for an IT CONTRACTS MANAGER to be responsible for supporting the management of diverse and complex contractual arrangements, including government panel contracts for hardware/software/services.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Experience in providing commercial support and advice within a large and complex organisation and IT environment, particularly in an IT commercial or category procurement function.
- Experience in interpreting and translating contract terms into clear and succinct advice and/or recommendations and also in the resolution of complex contract/service disputes.
- Government industry experience will be favourable.
- Tertiary qualifications in a business discipline, computer science, law or MBA, including the experience as follows:
- 10+ years - Business/IT experience
- 5+ years - Contract/Service Management
- 3+ years - Vendor Relationship Management
- Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with particular skills in preparing formal contractual correspondence.
- Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills, including financial analysis, report writing and presentation skills with emphasis on addressing IT commercial and procurement requirements.
- Positive attitude to work and an ability to manage competing deadlines in a highly productive environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a high quality, professional and customer focussed service.
- Experience working in a team environment and with diverse stakeholders.
