IT Consultant - Accounting Products (Microgen Aptitude)

Global Enterprise Partners currently is IT Financial Accounting Consultant for a bank in The Netherlands

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Knowledge of Retail and/or, Financial Markets, and/or Corporate Lending and/orTransaction Services products;
- Knowledge of (Product) Accounting concepts;
- Knowledge of GAAP's (IFRS, other GAAP's is a plus);
- Understand and knowledge of the banking processes;
- Knowledge and experience with an accounting rules engine in general is a plus, but knowledge of MICROGEN APTITUDE AND/OR FUSION ACCOUNTING HUB is a must
- Knowledge and experience of OBIEE and/or BI4 reporting tools is a plus;
- You are an expert with strong analytical skills who takes decisions based on data and facts and who makes use of state of the art methods and technics;
- Knowledge and experience of working with SQL

What will the person be doing on a day to day basis?

- Translation of business requirements into Finance user requirements;
- Define based on the product life cycle [analyse product] the (event based) product accounting specifications;
- Define non product related ledger processes and services eg: tax accounting specifications, Cost of funding, P
- Analysing the differences between IFRS and local Gaap, and define the additional local GAAP accounting specifications;
- Safeguard the (local) Cash management model in close corporation with Bank Treasury;
- Implement and maintain the book/organisational structure (FSD/DRM);
- Implement and maintain the Accounting reconciliation framework (OFSAA reconciliation framework, Cash reconciliation, Intercompany reconciliation, Balance sheet substantiation, P
