IT CONFIGURATION MANAGER - CMDB/ITIL CERTIFIED - OXFORDSHIRE, SOUTH EAST - 3 MONTHS - 325- 350 PER DAY

An exciting contract opportunity has arisen with one of our clients based in Oxford. Looking for an IT Configuration Manager for an initial 3 month contract.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE A PROVEN TRACK RECORD DESIGNING, IMPLEMENTING AND SUPPORTING A CMDB/CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT DATABASE.

Looking for an expert in Configuration Management concepts and practices who is confident defining methods and techniques for management of all IT Assets, business impact analysis based on IT component relationships, provision of data relating to IT Assets to enable improved change and project planning.

RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING TASKS- Identifying Configuration Management requirements

Design and deployment of a CMDB

Production of policy, processes, procedures, working practices and supporting guidance to promote effective Configuration Management from concept to execution and review

Planning, managing and monitoring the implementation of the CMDB. This will include defining the attributes of the Configuration Item, defining relationships between Databases and Configuration Items, providing management information against Configuration items and defining the procedures for updating Configuration Items from Change activity.

MUST BE ITIL CERIFIED.

Must be eligible to undergo Security Clearance processes.
