IT Compliance Technical Writer Job

IT COMPLIANCE TECHNICAL WRITER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Technical Writing experience
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment
- Compliance background/experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with Duke Energy CIP Program Management staff to enhance Duke Energy's compliance documents.
- Organize subject material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
- Work with subject matter experts to ensure that the flow of information is accurate, concise and clear to all parties.
- Edit, standardize, or make changes to draft documents prepared by Duke Energy personnel and/or work closely with Duke personnel to develop program/procedure documents.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with the following:
- Update links
- Going through documents and making sure they are concise and easy to understand
- Must be familiar with SharePoint

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Preference for qualified individuals with compliance background/experience.
