IT Chapterlead (IT Security + Finance Background)

IT CHAPTERLEAD (FINANCE/BANKING BACKGROUND)

For one of Netherlands's largest financial clients, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer/IT Chapterlead with Agile/DevOps expertise along with someone who is passionate about IT Security.

Your main task is to enable your engineers to grow their mastery and get a little bit better in what they do every day. In the other 50% of your time, as a lead engineer you set the example, share your knowledge, drive innovation, voice your opinion and deliver as a squad member.

This will be a stable 12 months' contract in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Flexible rates + extensions.

THE IDEAL IT CHAPTERLEAD WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading and coaching fellow engineers in an hierarchical or project role. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer in similar environments.
- Knowledge of IT Security
- You have experience as a Team Lead, including HR responsibilities;
- You love technology and you have technical background
- You have experience with Administering Windows, basic network understanding, basic understanding of virtualization and knowledge about security;
- You have the ability to step back and understand complex architecture;
- You have experience in an Agile/Scrum/Dev/Ops team;
- You speak up, are transparent and not shy to confront someone;
- You get energy from managing vendors, suppliers and you like to think ahead;
