ur prestigious client is a leading media organisation operating in more than 80 countries with 400 offices and is looking for an IT Business Partner (w/m) located in Dusseldorf who will be responsible for the offices in the DACH Region - Germany, Austria and Switzerland to enable greater efficiency and effectives for the Technology function throughout the market.

Your key tasks:

plan, lead and develop IT strategy for a specific group of markets within the EMEA group, ensuring it integrates with the organisational IT strategy, architecture and compliance

facilitate and advise senior business stakeholders in the market on how to innovate and utilise technology to enable client specific solutions and drive business transformation

maintain familiarity with the day-to-day operations of the business; including a deep understanding of specific aspects of the business, such as markets scenario, competitive scenario, business strategy and business pipeline

aligning the specific markets IT plans into the organisational strategic direction

understanding the agency tools in the markets and assisting each of the agency business partners with surfacing the best tool set for a given situation

managing stakeholders in the development and agreement of business requirements, including ';discovery’ work to investigate and define new product developments

Review business concepts/ ideas and help business owners articulate business case

participate in and inform the prioritization process for business investments, and assess the risk and return

formal initiation of projects with appropriate business sponsorship & governance

Your profile:

bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline

Minimum of 10 years related experience

excellent industry knowledge ( media)

communicationevaluating where change is needed and supporting that change

broad industry and technical awareness to identify technology opportunities and align these to the business needs

commercial awareness

project and programme management skills

strong business process mapping and improvement skills

supplier management skills

fluent in German and English

demonstrable track record of leading individuals and teams

formal qualifications in Management or Leadership will be highly regarded

willingness to travel on a regular basis
