We are looking for IT consultant for role in Shenzhen

- Business Consulting services, supporting Service Sales and Marketing projects, Knowledge Sharing and Best Practice transfer through leadership, coaching, mentoring or formal training activities.
- Develop and articulate the Huawei IT Business Consultant Solution portfolio and value propositions reflecting market and customer requirements within the fixed, mobile and converged ICT markets focusing mainly on the Business Strategy development, Service Development and overall IT Operations.
- Identify add on sales opportunities during assignments with existing customers and communicate to appropriate business development areas within Huawei.
- Function as the IT Business Consultant expert providing guidance and technical advice to Huawei internal organizations including the front line teams.

DELIVERABLES

- Support customer relationship, capture customer requirements and analyze customer pain points to identify and agree on solution deliverables for engagement.
- Ensure customer interests are represented and addressed during IT Business Consulting engagements.
- Support major marketing events and activities as a subject matter expert.
- Remain current with market trends and developments to identify opportunities and produce quarterly market and Business Intelligence reports.
- Benchmark Huawei IT Business Consulting Solutions to improve market place performance and communicate to regional strategy teams in order to meet or exceed competitor offers.
- Working closely with HQ and Regional sales teams, promote IT Business Consulting within all Service offers providing marketing support and coaching as required.
- Provide marketing and sales support to existing and prospective customers globally.
- Produce regular summary reports to Regional and HQ staff of best practice, reference cases, gap analysis, opportunities and key learning from engagements.

INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS

- Extensive expertise in IT Business consultant focusing partnership with operators, advising them how to use information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems. Work to improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems in various organizations and held senior managerial roles in one or more of the following competence areas
- EXPERT ADVICE ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
- Define business strategies and developing business plans with a focus on value creation
- Provide analysis, advice and solutions to Operators that need to develop or improve their communication, data or software systems. Provide training for current employees. Job duties of the IT business consultants include performance assessments of a business' existing systems, strategic planning and implementation of the new system or process.
- Specialize in providing technology solutions for software platforms, data centers and overall IT operations. Ability to recommend software, platforms and tools and estimate the budget required for such implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of the IT eco system as it relates to the Telecom Operator. Be able to plan the roadmap and make recommendations for future technology architecture such as: NFV/SDN/Cloud.
- Knowledge of Data Centers, IMS and Open Systems.
- SERVICE DEVELOPMENT
- Understand future market trends and help develop service requirements
- Strong knowledge of VAS services.
- Plan and model new services to be launched eg Digital Services
- Understand the Open Digital Environment as it relates to service development
- Knowledge of OTT and 3rd party service providers. Help operators neutralize service competition from the OTT.
- Make recommendations of service monetization and go to market strategies (GTM)
- IT OPERATIONS
- Plan and optimize the IT environment from a cost efficiency perspective through consolidation, automation and convergence
- Good understanding of hosting and managed services
- Knowledge of Operations Support, Billing Systems and CRM
- Have good knowledge of establishing BCP plans and be able to offer concrete suggestions to help with DR.

- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Commercial experience in Sales, business development, marketing, sales support or contract management roles
- Business modelling, Strategy and Roadmap development and implementation
- Consulting experience gained within a telecoms operator or vendor or an industry recognized consultancy practice.
- Highly adaptable, goal orientated self reliant and personable. Able to work under pressure in global multi-cultural environment with a high degree of flexibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English with a natural ability to communicate complex concepts concisely with clarity and credibility. Chinese language proficiency is desirable but not essential.
- Personal integrity and professionalism.
- Able to travel extensively globally on short notice for extended periods, as required.
