IT Business Engineer

Edelway is a Services Consultancy based in Switzerland. For our client, a well renowned Swiss/
International Bank located in the Zurich region, we are currently seeking an IT Business Engineer with experience having worked within a financial institution.

THE ROLE

- Work within an agile team to implement various new features and projects.
- As a business engineer you are in a key role to ensure that the business requirements are considered correctly during the implementation.
- Document and maintain the product documentation.
- Capturing epics and user stories.
- Analyze new business requests and support the effort estimation of the team.
- Conduct business analyses and technical analyses.
- Advise business stakeholders.
- Support testing activities.
- Curate the product and business knowledge.

THE PROFILE

8+ YEARS of experience as IT BUSINESS ANALYST OR ENGINEER IN THE FINANCIAL INDUSTRY
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT BACKGROUND and good understanding of different processes it involves.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- UML/ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE
- SQL
- UX/UI DESIGN SKILLS (HTML5, JAVASCRIPT, CSS AND ANGULARJS)

Understanding portfolio theory and portfolio management processes.
Ability to UNDERSTAND BASIC JAVA CODE to check the implemented business logic.
