REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER/BUSINESS ANALYST WITH TRADING
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry. We are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING IN TRADING ENVIRONMENT who can start as soon as possible.
Role:
- Requirements Engineer/Business analyst for Trading Limit Systems (Risk Management system, principally for OTC derivatives)
- The role is for the key onshore analyst for the team on this regulator initiative who will additionally help coordinate the work for offshore analysts.
Responsibilities:
- Elicits, analyses, documents and validates business requirements, conditions and priorities within an application development project in the Credit risk Domain
- Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional specifications
- Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation
- Supports the test team in testing activities, when necessary
- Provide standard requirements engineering deliverables (Use Case Model, Use Cases, User Stories Business Rule Specifications, Screen Specifications, Non Functional Requirements Specifications) on time and with high quality and ensure business signoff
- Effort estimations and task planning for Requirements Engineering related project tasks
Skills:
- Degree at university level (preferably in IT or Banking)
- 6 years of experience in requirements engineering in application development projects
- Experience in banking or finance industry preferably focusing on risk management or front to back trade flows
- Datamodelling and/or SQL knowledge
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong communications and customer orientation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Business Project Managers, User Representatives, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
- Experience in international projects
- Development or system analysis background
- Experience of Agile
- UML knowledge
