IT BUSINESS ANALYST - U.S BANKING REGULATIONS

For one of our customers in Zurich, we are looking for a IT business analyst - 1 year contract:

JOB OVERVIEW

-

develop, manage and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process
-

understand business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business and IT point of view
-

obtain understanding of and commitment to requirements
-

supports business through IT support and documentation to provide a common understanding of the solution between the users and the IT team

MAIN TASKS

-

elicit and elaborate requirements, modelling and documenting them to make them understandable for all parties involved
-

ensure accuracy of specifications for the user's needs
-

maintain traceability between requirements and requests
-

identify impact of changes on the existing requirements
-

provide input to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements
-

support testing phase by giving input, review test strategy and test cases

REQUIRED SKILLS

- over 5 year requirements engineering experience in IT environment within financial institutions
- well experienced in eliciting requirements from business subject matter experts, writing business rules and interface specifications for the developers
- good understanding of financial instruments (Swaps, Forwards, Options, Warrants, Futures)
- solid practical experience of use case modelling (UML) in IT projects
- good understanding of SDLC
- Tax banking knowledge, especially US Withholding Tax (FATCA) will be an asset
- experience in using JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- project management experience using Agile methods
- soft skills required: analytical thinking, solution-oriented, autonomous, proactive, flexible and assertive

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- University degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering or a similar certificate is an asset
- German and English mandatory
