For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a Business Analyst with strong knowledge of the trading life cycle to work on a valuation and risk based reporting initiative in Zurich.
This is a 6 month contract with a strong chance of renewal.
IT BUSINESS ANALYST, TRADING, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our risk technology and reporting team, primarily but not limited to the role as Requirements Engineer for the Regulatory reporting. Our delivery environment involves several trading/position keeping application, data processing possibilities and reporting requirements.
We offer:
- Challenging and interesting position as Business Engineer for regulatory reporting for several business areas.
- Platform to interact with business representatives in Trading, Product Control, Financial Accounting, Credit Risk and Operations
- An interesting environment working closely with technical leads and subject matter experts of the several IT applications in our risk reporting landscape.
- Opportunity to work in an Agile development environment.
- Responsibility to participate or lead gathering of the business requirements and their documentation
- Accountability for proper documentation of pragmatic IT solutions for the given set of requirements (in the form of functional specifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- 3- 5 years of working experience as Business Analyst/Requirements Engineering in the financial services industry
- Good experience on trading and Front Office projects
- Experience in one or several of the following areas - OTC and Securities products, business functions such as Sales and Execution, Trading and Trading Risk, Market Risk and Credit Risk, Product Control and Financial Accounting, Operations, Client Reporting, Regulatory Reporting
- Ability to understand and work with the end-to-end data flow in a complex landscape
- Background in IT is a definite advantage
- Fluent English language skills, German a plus
