IT BUSINESS ANALYST (TAX)

On behalf of our client, one of the most prestigious banks, we are looking for IT BUSINESS ANALYST (TAX). For THIS 6 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION BASED IN ZÜRICH, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate, who can start as soon as possible.
Are you interested in the possibility of stepping into a new green field area and building something new?
Then take a look at the requirements below:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessing existing set-up in terms of data model (format, attributes, sourcing), cleansing activities, reconciliation
- Identifying gaps and improvement areas against defined target operating model, scalability, robustness and flexibility requirements
- Prioritizing gaps and optimization measures and establish a roadmap to cover tactical and strategic enhancements
- Specifying high level and detailed requirements to close the gaps and implement the enhancements
- Evaluating efforts, and sharpen the tactical and strategic investments required to achieve the roadmap
- Providing guidance on the target organizational set-up
- Work with IT functions to deliver requirements where required for implementation
- Providing documentation of processes and business requirements
- Working closely with SME's to ensure that risks and issues are highlighted and escalated in a timely fashion for decision in project working groups
WHO I AM LOOKING FOR:
- 8+ YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN IT BUSINESS ANALYST IN A MATRIX ORGANIZATION, IDEALLY IN BANKING
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN TAX IS A MUST (CLIENT TAX REPORTING AND/OR REGULATORY TAX PROJECTS)
- Good understanding of Tax Reporting Cycle in banking environment is a big plus
- Experience in data sourcing or extraction project is a strong plus
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle
- Fluent in English, German highly desired
