IT BUSINESS ANALYST/SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
BRINE SA is currently looking for a Business Analyst to lead requirements analysis and design of a new system in drug regulatory affairs. You will be working on a strategic initiative with the mandate to conceive, design and deliver a strategic product which will bring transformative change to the business domain, to promote a competitive advantage. You will join a team of highly skilled analysts, architects and engineers.
The project is run in Scrum methodology and requires daily interaction with the business and technical team. The Business Analyst has a key role in describing and translating business requirements in a way that they are clear, complete and easily understood by the implementation team. The BA is actively involved in design discussions, to ensure the technical implementation fulfils the business requirements with a key focus on purpose, consistence and usability.
EXPERIENCE
Good technical background in conjunction with proven BA techniques and well developed interpersonal skills are key success factors in this role.
8 plus years experience in business analysis.
During the validation phase the BA may be involved in the creation of PQ test scripts and will support the Test Manager and Business Team with planning, preparation and orchestration of the validation activities.
Experience with any or all of the following highly desirable: GxP, Validation
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading business requirements sessions for a functional/process area topic with a team of business users including: utilizing necessary analytical tools that result in aligned concepts, business processes and requirements with the business team; providing guidance to the business team to ensure consistency of the overall solution; continuous management of user expectations.
Owning and managing user requirements specifications for a functional area, ensuring that the complexity of the requirements is documented in concise, scalable manner than is easily understood by both the business team and technical team
Managing the conceptual domain model for the solution including ensuring that the model remains feasible for current and future business needs
Owning the delivery of requirements for a functional area including: providing design guidance to technical team that ensures consistency with conceptual model and overall solution, providing continuous clarifications to technical team on requirements during build, and validating the implementation of requirements from a usability perspective
MANDATORY SKILLS
Regulatory domain knowledge (specifically submission and registration management)
Track record designing and delivering solution approaches to problem areas that bring transformative change to an organization
Ability to discuss and negotiate and agree on proposed design options with key stakeholders in the organization
Proven experience analysing business needs, eliciting and documenting effective user requirements for complex software development projects (preferably for a custom solution)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
