IT - Business Analyst - SDLC and Tax (4820)

For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced IT - BUSINESS ANALYST - SDLC AND TAX (4820).

You'll be working within Group Technology/Application delivery, specifically in the Tax IT team.

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

- 8+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE AS AN IT BUSINESS ANALYST
- STRONG EXPERIENCE IN TAX PROJECTS, IDEALLY WITHIN LARGE BANKS
- GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE
- Technically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability
- Fluent in English (German is beneficial but not a must)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assess existing set-up in terms of data model (format, attributes, sourcing), cleansing activities, and reconciliation
- Identify gaps and improvement areas against defined target operating model, scalability, robustness and flexibility requirements
- Prioritize gaps and optimization measures and establish a roadmap to cover tactical and strategic enhancements
- Specify high level and detailed requirements to close the gaps and implement the enhancements
- Evaluate efforts, and sharpen the tactical and strategic investments required to achieve the roadmap
- Provide guidance on the target organizational set-up
- Work with IT functions to deliver requirements where required for implementation
- Provide documentation of processes and business requirements
- Work closely with SME's to ensure that risks and issues are highlighted and escalated in a timely fashion for decision in project working group
