IT BUSINESS ANALYST/BEERSE, BELGIUM/6 MONTHS CONTRACT/42 TO 70 EUR (PER HOUR)

The scope of this role is to lead and support the Lab Of The Future projects/products from IT perspective interconnecting the business with the solution providers (Vendors/Application Services). Main scope would be on the Lab Capacity Planning product (vendor hosted solution - Smart QC-cResults) and Lab Of The Future initiatives on the LIMS (Labvantage solution).

S/he will drive innovations and improvements in partnership with the JSC IT Product Line Owner Director (who is leading the overall team of product owners and business analysts).

The individual must have a strong process knowledge of laboratories, and how these are linked in the manufacturing supply chain. Functional knowledge of laboratory solutions like LIMS and instrument connections is also desirable. Recently a cloud based solution for laboratory planning of resources (people and instruments) is being deployed cross sector (Consumer, Pharma and Medical Device) within J&J (SmartQC). Projects needs to be initiated and the role is to support the business towards the vendor.

The individual will ensure the Agile methodology is the primary option for delivering IT solutions. The individual is the conduit between the business partners and the AS or vendor team. He/she will work together with project managers to align on project plan and financial commitments.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Understand the business's needs and priorities from the product
- Negotiate with the business to see what backlog items (user stories) are built and which are backlogged based on capacity, business value and priority
- Accountable for the development work getting done correctly
- Business requirements analysis
- Creating Epics/User Stories
- Defines Acceptance criteria
- Understands Product complexity and how to prioritize business requirements
- Understands development estimates and how levels of effort impact the priority of requirements Managed to assure compliance and adherence to all regulatory and business requirements and inspire a Credo driven team
- Resolves business and technical challenges to deliver on time, cost and quality and to ensure realization of business benefits
- Effectively communicate team expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Building strong partnerships with business at different levels of the organization
- Building strong partnerships with vendors and application services (internal group for building and supporting the software products/applications)
- Work with project managers to ensure projects are properly managed (project plan, budget, overall governance of projects) and reported out towards business partners
- Defines a clear vision for the software product/application and is responsible for multi-generation product strategy
- Maximizes ROI by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value

NON TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- Ability to translate business requirements into Functional Epics/User Stories. Experience working across multiple levels of business and IT stakeholders
- Strong personal commitment to continuous business improvement, and effectively collaborating and managing our business stakeholders
- Capable of working as part of a team and on own initiative. Capable to change priorities quickly and influence others
- Capable of leading, coaching and influencing others
- Ability embrace changes and to deliver IT solutions in a fast changing Business/IT environment
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and working closely with shared services organization Previous experience in working in a global, cross-functional capacity is required
- Ability to manage complexity and resolve ambiguity
- Strong problem solving, analytical and design skills are required
- Solid written, presentation and verbal communication skills are required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent technology based degree
- Good knowledge of supply chain business processes and healthcare industry + more specifically laboratory projects
- Technical knowledge of Laboratory solutions, like LIMS is a plus.
- Understanding of the Agile framework and how to implement it to deliver the solutions and functionality
- Deep understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and other methodologies
- Ability to present ideas in front of business and technical stakeholders
- Product Owner and/or business analyst certification is a plus (and will be required to achieve in the role), PMP/FPX certification is a plus
