IT BUSINESS ANALYST RISK (ORACLE/SQL)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for an IT BUSINESS ANALYST WHO IS VERY SKILLED IN ORACLE AND SQL. You would part of a team responsible for the end to end delivery and accuracy of Data Sourcing, Analytics and Reporting data. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

ROLE:

- Analyzing business requirements for the Credit Risk area, creating Business Requirement and IT Design Specification documents.
- Analyzing an end-to-end view: from upstream sources, loading and calculations, reports and downstream dependencies.
- Engaging business and IT system owners to gather, understand and collaborate to a joined solution
- Defining and executing of test cases, structurally and functionally which includes data quality analysis and solution definition.
- Creating and executing SQL queries to validate analysis and support test results.

SKILLS:

- Over 5 years of experience in IT Business Analysis
- Good experience in business analysis, project governance, user requirements, design of test scenarios & test scripts, project documentation
- Experience translating business requirements into IT designs and documentation for IT teams
- Very good experience with Oracle, SQL and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Visio) skills
- Knowledge and experience in Credit Risk is a plus
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Dynamics, Cubes, Reports is a plus
- Experience in working on large volumes of data, DWH, Reporting is a plus
- Excellent documentation and written communication skills
- Fast learner with the ability to get up to speed quickly with new processes and IT applications/infrastructure
- Organized and able to work independently
- Outgoing and personable, with the confidence to deal with varied groups of stakeholders and diverse IT teams
- Fluent in English (German is desired)
