IT BUSINESS ANALYST (MIFID 2, OTC, DATA ANALYSIS) - CONTRACT - SWITZERLAND
For one of our clients in the banking sector in Zurich, Stamford Consultants are looking for an IT Business Analyst with good technical background, OTC products knowledge, data analysis and reporting skills. The role would be situated within their MiFID 2 programme.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborating closely with the business teams (eg regulatory stakeholders) and IT teams (architects, PMs, solution engineers, testing teams, etc.)
- Eliciting business requirements and translating them into system requirements specifications
- Conducting data analysis
- Specifying the reporting capabilities
IDEAL PROFILE:
- University degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field of study
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial sector, preferably in banking
- Technical background would be a strong advantage
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- DWH knowhow
- Good OTC and listed products knowledge
- Good understanding of the following banking processes: trading, sales, advisory, etc.
- Strong UML modelling skills
- Fluent English
