IT-Business Analyst (Market Risk)

For our our client an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for candodates for a role: IT-Business Analyst (market risk)
Location: Zurich
Duration: 6 months

Your role
Do you have a combination of business, product and IT knowledge? Do you have strong client facing and interpersonal skills?

We're looking for someone like this to:
- Understand and define business processes that support IT solutions
- Partner with the Market Risk IT teams to help define and deliver their product
- Develop a deep understanding of FRC Portfolio Data
- Take ownership of project deliverables and produce concise solution designs
- Manage the staff of a project team

Your team
You'll be working in the Market Risk Data Hub IT team. It is a global team responsible for designing, building and maintaining IT solutions to support the Market Risk Control Functions. We are organized across asset classes which face off to the business and take full accountability for defining and delivering products.

Your experience and skills

You have:
- Ideally a University Degree or Masters in IT/Computer Science
- A strong Market Risk background (SME)
- Strong Business Analysis skills
- Database management skills
- Fianancial management certification (eg FRM)
- An IT development and architecture background (you can read the code)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Good understanding of Banking products and process, expertise in market reference data, good understanding of VaRhigh attention to detail, ability to handle a significant number of dependencies and issues ensuring nothing is missed out.
- Knowledgeable of Market Risk processes within a multinational financial services organization, and have an understanding of the regulatory drivers for Market Risk
- Having a good understanding of Banking products and process (A Finance Management certificate will be a plus)
- Fluent in English
