IT Business Analyst Fund Accounting - Zurich - Contract

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for an IT Business Analyst - Fund Accounting to start ASAP in Zürich. This is a 6 month contract.
Main tasks will include the following:
Responsibility to elicit, analyze, document, specify and manage functional and non-functional requirements as well as business processes for IT projects in the Hedge Accounting area
Independently investigate business problems and formulate solution proposals
Participating in integration and user acceptance testing
Adoption of common standards, processes and tools across own deliverables
Creating database models and UML diagrams
Ensure a professional, sustainable and strong stakeholder management with all relevant internal and external project parties involved, including but not limited to sponsors, team leads, feeders, senior management and business counterparts
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor, Master or University Degree or equal qualifying experience
At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis and Requirements
Front Office or Risk Management Experience specifically around pricing interest rate derivatives or interest rate modelling
Experience in Finance Products like Swaps, Derivatives, Bonds and interest rate risk management or asset/liability management
Hedge Accounting experience is a definite plus
Ability to document functional specs/technical specs using MS Excel formulas
Ability to communicate with IT developers and business partners to explain complex financial issues in an easy to understand manner Engineering in banking IT projects
Ability to read Java and PL/SQL source code
Solid SQL knowledge and ability to apply it in day-to-day work
Proactive and reliable personality who works independently
Fluency in English & German is a plus
