For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
IT BUSINESS ANALYST FOR TREASURY (CONTRACT)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible in global and agile Treasury IT projects
- Analysation, specification and management of functional and non-functional requirements in the Hedge Accounting area
- Investigation of business problems independently and formulation of solution proposals
- Participation in integration and user acceptance testing
- Adoption of common standards, processes and tools
- Creation of database models and UML diagrams
- Ensure a professional and sustainable stakeholder management
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor, Master or University degree or equal qualifying experience
- More than 3 years' experience in Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering in banking IT projects
- In-depth experience in Risk Management, specifically around pricing interest rate derivatives and/or interest rate modelling
- Solid experience in Finance products (Swaps, Derivatives, Bonds, interest risk management, asset/liability management)
- A plus is experience in Hedge Accounting
- Very good knowledge in:
- MS Excel formulas (document functional specs/technical specs)
- Java, PL/SQL (read source codes)
- SQL (apply in the day-to-day work)
- Good communication skills and ability to explain complex financial issues
- Knowledge in Scrum, Kanban and Test Driven Development
- Proactive, reliable, flexible and open-minded personality with a proven track record of sustainable stakeholder management
- Self-reliant, methodical and exact working method
- Fluent in English is a MUST, fluent in German is a plus
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (extension highly possible)
- Daily rate: 760 CHF all inclusive
- Location: Zurich
