IT - Business Analyst (eDTS Analyst/MS Access Developer)

For one of our global banking clients based in Zurich we are looking for you to:

- coordinate with Business users and/or key business stakeholders to assess the current database model and application to identify areas for improvement
- elicit business requirement for enhancements, produce detailed requirement specifications including acceptance criteria
- design, code/build and the respective improvements and enhancements
- test respective software and data model changes and work with business users for testing acceptance and signoff
- support the project manager in planning and running the project, ensuring that business requirements are met in time

Your team:

You'll be working in the Legal and Investigations IT delivery team in Switzerland.

We are a dynamic and growing team based primarily in Zurich Altstetten but are spread over a number of smaller locations in Zurich and globally. We deliver technology solutions and eDiscovery Services to Group Investigations.

Your experience and skills:

- 7+ years of experience as an IT business/technical analyst in a similar corporate and global environment combined with development skills and experience (MS Access, MS Excel, Visual Basic Scripting, SQL)
- 5+ years of experience in Database Design
- extensive technical expertise
- Good working knowledge of Tableau would be a plus
- strong analytical and problem solving skills, business analysis methodology & experience
- proactive and independent work style, excellent organizational and time-management skills
- high levels of drive and commitment to high quality on-time delivery
- Desirable experience in eDiscovery
- Process oriented with a structured approach to ensure delivery in time
- operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- contribute considerably to the achievement of financial results, secure cost and efficiency savings and progress the bank's reputation and consider associated risks
- Fluent in English with German being an advantage
