IT-BUSINESS ANALYST/DWH REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER WITH STRONG FOCUS ON DATAMODELLING (DATA ARCHITECT)
We are looking to find a responsible and open minded candidate who adds value to our client's IT team. Our client is an international Swiss Bank.
ROLE:
- Analyze customer requirements for the PBW (Private Banking and Wealth Management) Data warehouse
- Create mapping specifications ready for implementation by software engineers in collaboration with data- and solution architects
- Provide support to developers during implementation.
- Act as a point of contact for any functional queries regarding the mapping specification or software.
- Write and maintain product documentation
- Analysis and management of customer bug issues (3rd level support)
- Drive application landscape
- Collaborate with delivery streams (requirements, development, testing etc.) to optimize their book of work
- Plan project reviews, facilitate issue resolution
- Identify the re-use of opportunities and promote the re-use of components across architecture
- Draw technical image
- Help drive innovation
SKILLS:
- Proven experience in developing data models for complex banking MIS applications based on ORACLE RDBMS and Informatica ETL TOOL SUITE
- Knowledge of formal architectural MODELLING METHODS and TOOLS SUCH AS UML AND SYBASE POWERDESIGNER
- Good knowledge and practical experience of using Enterprise integration patterns
- Experience of "ARCHITECTING"/IMPLEMENTING SOLUTIONS UTILIZING RECOGNIZED DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE PATTERNS.
- Good DATA ARCHITECTURE AND DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE utilizing disparate technologies and integrating heterogeneous systems particularly those of a non-web based nature.
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player, strong communication skills and a conceptual working approach
- Ability to gain consensus when faced with differing views.
- Strong knowledge of current and future technologies.
- Experience with offshore development
- Excellent documentation skills
- Language: English a must, minimum business proficiency in German; nice to have
