DESKTOP BUSINESS ANALYST
On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a BUSINESS ANALYST WITH DESKTOP AND EXTENSIVE END-USER EXPERIENCE. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Overview:
Create an optimized Windows 10 based desktop environment supporting all types of hardware (Desktop, Laptop, VM, Ultra-portable and Thin Client). Re-define deployment and update processes so that they optimized to work with the revised Microsoft deployment approach.
ROLE:
The project comprises the following main tasks for the relevant work stream:
- Support the Program and Product Management to engage with all key relevant stakeholders to collect, validate and verify requirements in scope
- Close collaboration with stakeholders like representatives from Private Banking, Investment Banking, Finance, Risk Management and Information Technology
- High management attention in an international environment Embedded in a team of professionals obtaining a variety of backgrounds
- Working on regulatory-related topics that are shaping the future of the financial industry
- Broad exposure across the bank and development opportunities
SKILLS:
- Relevant work experience in business analysis (ideally know how about IT projects) and/or consulting in the banking environment
- Several years of experience in rollout projects
- Significant experience with Desktop projects
- Good experience with End-User infrastructure
- Experience in documenting business processes, work-flows and requirements
- Team player with strong analytical, conceptual, delivery-oriented and hands-on work style
- Strong interpersonal skills that enable building effective working relationships across different cultures
- Experienced user of MS Office toolset, especially Powerpoint & Excel
- Data reconciliation experience
- English written and verbal communication
Desired
- Jira experience is considered a very nice to have
- Good understanding of risk and finance functions within the financial sector
- German is a plus
