IT BUSINESS ANALYST/DATAMODELLING (SQL)
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a IT Business Analyst with strong Datamodelling experience to work on Tax projects.
Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity with a market leading global company then please have a look at the details:
ROLE:
- As part of the Application delivery team, offer business analysis specifically in the Tax IT team
- Assess existing set-up in terms of data model (format, attributes, sourcing), cleansing activities, reconciliation
- Identify gaps and improvement areas against defined target operating model, scalability, robustness and flexibility requirements
- Prioritize gaps and optimization measures and establish a roadmap to cover tactical and strategic enhancements
- Specify high level and detailed requirements to close the gaps and implement the enhancements
- Evaluate efforts, and sharpen the tactical and strategic investments required to achieve the roadmap
- Provide guidance on the target organizational set-up
- Work with IT functions to deliver requirements where required for implementation
- Provide documentation of processes and business requirements
- Work closely with SME's to ensure that risks and issues are highlighted and escalated in a timely fashion for decision in project working groups
SKILLS:
- Over 8 years of experience in IT Business Analysis
- Excellent and strong record in Datamodelling
- Strong SQL/XML skills
- Previous banking industry experience
- Good understanding of SDLC, Java understanding a strong plus
- Understanding of tax, ideally experience with Safetax or Easytax a nice to have
- Good understanding in securities, transfers, banking processes highly beneficial
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Fluent in English (German is beneficial but not a must)
