IT BUSINESS ANALYST, DATA WAREHOUSE PROJECT, BANKING SECTOR

We are currently looking for an IT Business Analyst with experience in Data Warehouse for an exciting project for one of our clients in the banking sector in Zürich on a contract basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gathering business requirements and transform them into requirements documentation
- Analyzing and evaluating products, processes and services from external and internal data
- Communicating with stakeholders with Business Background, IT and Test teams, Business Analysts
- Designing data marts from multiple data sources
- Providing support to Project Management
- Exploring business problems and developing solution proposals and implementation plans
YOUR PROFILE:
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analysis in the Banking/Financial sector
- Experience with Data Warehouse projects and BI Tools (Cognos, Business Objects)
- Good experience in Datamodelling and process modelling (UML)
- Strong SQL/Toad skills, proficient use of DB2, understanding of software development life cycle
- Being initiative with strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written), German will be an asset
