IT BUSINESS ANALYST CREDIT RISK (TICINO)
On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for an IT BUSINESS ANALYST CREDIT RISK FOR THE TICINO AREA. For this contract position based in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Role overview:
- The Credit Risk Calculations team is managing applications and projects, which enable the bank's Front Office and Credit Specialist users to calculate Probability of Default, Loss Given Default and Expected Loss parameters for the whole credit portfolio.
- All these applications rely on the availability of the detailed, complete and correct client, credit, collateral and asset data sets from all Private Banking units of the bank across the globe.
- The main focus of the project, for which we are looking for a new Business Analyst, is the sourcing of new data into the main Private Bank data fabric.
Role:
- Gap analysis of data feeds from different PB locations to identify gaps in the quality and quantity of the data feeds.
- Identification of new data feed requirements from consumer applications and mapping of these requirements to the existing data sets in the PB data fabric or identifying new data fields in the local core banking systems to source them also into the PB data fabric.
- Ensures that specified requirements are transmitted entirely and correctly to the development and test team members by writing clear and detailed functional and non-function requirements specifications
- Supports developers and testers by resolving business issues that come up during the technical implementation and testing phase
- Provides subject matter expertise to support the development and validation of quality assurance, application architecture, testing and other project deliverables
Skills:
- 4 or more years of experience in requirements engineering in application development projects with strong focus on data sourcing and data analysis tasks
- fluent written and spoken English
- strong analytical problem solving skills
- advanced knowledge about SQL, data analysis and Datamodelling
- soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Business Project Managers, User Representatives, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
- experience in banking or finance industry
- credit risk domain know-how
- understanding of architecture diagrams (mostly UML component diagrams)
Advantageous skills:
- experience in international projects
- experience in Market Data (mostly financial instruments)
- business engineering education and/or certificate
- German and/or Italian language knowledge
