IT BUSINESS ANALYST (BASEL III, REPORTING TOOLS, SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE) - SWITZERLAND

For our client in the banking sector in Zurich, we are currently searching for a Senior IT Business Analyst, who will be working on a project related to the validation and implementation of the functional specifications and technical design of the BASEL III compliance requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working closely with the Credit IT Team, business and technical architects
- Conducting detailed specifications of customer requirements, establishing system specifications and technical designs, participating in the implementation of these requirements
- Supporting the migration, upgrade and testing of system integration interfaces
- Assisting in technical analysis, design, architecture, planning, development and support of applications and business requirements to adhere to the Basel III requirements
- Tracking implementation of new change requests related to FINMA requirements
- Supporting project management activities
- Creating documentation on Back End user procedures, reports and data definitions
- Running acceptance tests
- Providing support documentations and checklists according to the system engineering standards of the company

IDEAL PROFILE:

- University degree in Computer Studies or a related field of studies
- Several years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in the financial sector
- Previous experience in BASEL II/III or FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING projects
- Strong DATAMODELLING skills
- Experience with different reporting tools, such as OBIEE, BRIO, AXIOM, etc.
- Proven track record of projects related to the design and implementation of reporting solutions
- Experience with all phases of the SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE
- Previous DATA WAREHOUSING experience
- Solid understanding of standard change control policies
- Fluent English
