IT Business Analyst
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Employment Type: Contract, Full time onsite
Duration: 10 Months (extensions likely)
Start Date: March 2017
A global pharmaceutical company is currently looking for an IT Business Analyst with experience in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry to join their dynamic team for an initial 10 months contract.
You will act as a bridge between business challenges and technology solutions and work across divisions.
Your Responsibilities:
- As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring and promoting collaboration with other IT divisions both locally and globally.
- You will maintain a close relationship with a network of global platform and divisional leads.
- You will collaborate with global business partners to understand current and desired business processes/requirements.
- You will work with local and global IT partners in the initial development and assessment of solution alternatives ensuring alignment with global IT standards/architectures and adherence to LEAN/Six Sigma principles.
- You will document and verify business process flows and business requirements.
- You will lead and/or support the internal SDLC and regulatory requirements including development, implementation and testing activities.
You must ideally have the following:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent science and/or business education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis.
- Knowledge in the healthcare industry.
- Hands-on experience in developing the full SDLC deliverable set.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; both written and verbal. And knowledge of Dutch and/or French (both preferred).
