For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a IT Business Analyst
Corporate Services Technology is seeking an IT business analyst with full SDLC life cycle experience preferably in financial industry or compliance domain to support Corporate Systems technology projects that impact the firm globally.
Key Deliverables:
- Business requirements gathering and analysis for Position Limit Monitoring and Information Barrier applications.
- Gather, compose, and refine requirements documentation in order to drive various development activities.
- Impact analysis of changes as related to timelines and deliverables.
- Identifies potential problems and leads problem resolution efforts.
- Interact with various business areas and IT departments.
- Write SQL queries, as needed, to perform data analysis.
- Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts as required.
- Assist in developing and implementation of test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases.
- Ensure the traceability of individual requirements and adherence to the defined requirements management process
Qualifications:
- Business Analysis experience (6+ years) with a leading financial services provider.
- Strong understanding of Legal and Compliance functions mainly around position limit monitoring, certain regulatory reporting and monitoring of information barriers
- Broad knowledge of financial services industry including securities, trades and positions
- Evidence of ability to have worked on complex business challenges and pragmatic solutions
- Can think and act globally with strong awareness of cross divisional challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills.
- Technically proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of SQL and the ability to write queries for data analysis.
