One of our clients, an international company in the pharmaceutical industry, currently requires an IT Business Analyst with experience in New Medicines
Start: ASAP
Length: 60 days
Location: South of Brussels
Job Description:
As IT Business Analyst for 2 projects:
- PKS connector upgrade: the goal of this project is to upgrade of a connector aiming at uploading
clinical data (flat files in SDTM format) into the PKS database. The mission is to support the
project leader in the validation of the new connector based on the existing user requirements.
- Synergy project: the goals of this project are
1) To define a technical solution to securely transfer data between NCD CROs and UCB
2) To prepare the process and associated solution ensuring that the toxicology data can be submitted to the FDA in the SEND format
3) To evaluate the applications to integrate and mine NCD data. In this scope, the role ofthe Business analyst is to assist the project leader in analysing the Business case, evaluating and documenting the chosen solutions.
Job responsibilities:
- Analyze Business requirements and evaluate possible technical solutions
- Write technical and validation documentation in the scope of the project mentioned above
- Coordinate activities with IT, Business and external supplier stakeholders as defined by the project leaders
- Follow the appropriate internal training as required by mission (eg computerized system validation framework)
Specific professional/technical expertise and key skills required:
- Min years' experience required: 3 years.
- International experience is a plus
Technical skills:
- Good understanding of GxP, validation framework & technology used in the pharmaceutical R&D environment
- Understanding of the business related to lab R&D processes
- Data management
- Excel, Basic SQL
Language skills:
- English: fluent
- French: good knowledge
