IT Bid Manager - South Yorkshire - £50K

I am delighted to be recruiting for a leading IT reseller and solutions provider who have been established for over 25 years.

The company are continually growing, currently turning over £80m per annum, and are looking for an individual who is looking for an opportunity to progress their career in the fast paced and ever changing world of IT.

Key responsibilities include: - Responsible for effective management of the bid and opportunity development:

Manage and develop the bid co-ordinator team responsible for the management of all bids

Manage and develop the pre-sales team who offer expert first line pre-sales to the sales teams

Ensuring opportunities are adhering to processes and compliance requirements

Designing and implementing improved processes for opportunity management from lead capture through to bid management and handover to delivery

Developing bid tools and a knowledge base

Agreeing, implementing and ensuring adherence to processes to ensure good service is provided to internal customers

Provide specialist assistance and coaching to develop skills in areas such as tender writing, reviewing and storyboarding where required

Develop and motivate the Bid Team, through improved collaboration, sharing best practice, developing training plans and providing mentoring support
Lead bid improvement across the business, including developing bid tools, refreshing the knowledge base and improving the process
Champion the bid process within the sales teams
Reporting and analysis on current and historical bids
Provide specialist assistance on tasks such as reviewing and storyboarding where required
