IT Backup Expert (f/m)

Starting date: 1st of May 2016
Length of the contract: 3 years with possibility of extension

Task description:
*Support and improvement of the storage and backup service while working in the Data and Network Section in the Infrastructure and Network Operations Division
*Working with IBM Enterprise Tape Library, TSM data protection modules for VMware, Oracle, Exchange and SAP and TSM Operations Center
*Build and use reporting tools or scripts to analyse backup operations and compliance
*Working with IBM storage systems (e.g XIV, DS8K, V7000), Netapp storage systems (e.g. FAS), EMC storage systems (e.g. Isilon), Brocade storage area networks
*Working in close liaison with the client teams for backup services, namely database, e-mail, server and virtual infrastructure development and support teams

Your profile:
*Engineering and design experience
*Experience with enterprise storage or centralised backup technologies - min 10 years
*Experience in developing and supporting complex centralised backup, data protection and disaster recovery solutions and with IBM Spectrum Protect (formerly TSM) on AIX or Linux
*Understanding of Enterprise Storage Systems and Storage Area Networks
*Working knowledge of IT Service Management standards, such as ITIL, in particular in the areas of incident, problem and release management
*On-call duties possible
*Good command of English with proven drafting ability
