IT BA - Portfolio Management

For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for an

IT BUSINESS ANALYST - PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT, IT SKILLS, UML

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months initial contract

Location: Zurich

In this project some of you responsibilities will be identifying and analysing business requirements (data sources, interfaces, business logic and processes) and work directly with business stakeholders, project managers, developers and other business customer to define the business requirements, objectives and specifications. You will be actively involved in solution finding within the project (close collaboration with business and IT and other customers/stakeholders). You will support the development team on application design, logic, architecture and testing where possible and document business requirements and specifications as per firm standards.

Skills requested:

- 7+ years of experience in a business analyst/business engineer role in the financial industry
- Experienced with the standard requirements elaboration and documentation techniques
- Ability to think in models as well as practical skills in using UML.
- In depth banking know how (processes and financial products) - Portfolio management
- Fast, precise and structured thinker
- Good communication skills (written and verbally)
- Team player with self-motivated can-do mindset
- Fluent in English

Ideally you also have the following skills/experience:

- In depth portfolio management know how. (CFA/AZEK big plus)
- Understands the common financial products
- Basic Technical skills highly desired (SQL, read and understand Java code, solid understanding of modern software engineering and architecture principles).
- German language highly desired.
