IT BA for IFRS 9 - Credit Risk

For our baking client we are currently looking for an BA for IFRS9 in Credit Risk:
START: 02.05.16
DURATION: 6 months
LOCATION: Zürich
The Business Analyst shall work in IFRS 9 project in credit risk. This work comprises the documentation of business requirements, the specification of IT changes, and the support of testing activities of an implementation. The goal of IFRS 9 is to replace the IAS 39 Incurred Credit Loss model with a new, forward looking, Expected Credit Loss model for certain financial assets. Our client will adopt IFRS 9 Financial Instruments in line with its mandatory effective date. IFRS 9 includes new guidance on how to classify and measure financial instruments. In particular, it brings in new rules that will materially change how banks account for credit risk moving from the current incurred loss model to an expected loss model. The benefit of that project is compliance with external regulatory requirements (IFRS 9 as issued by the IASB). In addition the Risk and Finance systems will be aligned. Knowledge of SQL for querying Oracle data bases and an understanding of data base design is a must for this role.
The Business Analyst must analyse business related processes that include banking, organizational, application- related and other operational processes and procedures and develops proposals for change or enhancement. This role would typically be found in a project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts

Process documentation
Business requirements documentation
Recommendations for improvements, solutions and respective implementation plans
