IT Auditor

This position is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of NERC CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) compliance programs related to the power systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:

The selected candidate will be -
-Expected to possess/utilize sufficient knowledge of TCP/IP (Internet protocol) devices, networking, and information systems operation to effectively interpret evolving Cyber Security regulations and develop effective programs that ensure compliance.
-Expected to possess/utilize working knowledge of IT network architecture concepts of large scale information systems.
-Expected to possess/utilize working knowledge of computer networking concepts and a general knowledge of the concepts involved in operating large scale information systems.
- Expected to possess/utilize working knowledge of Cyber Security concepts for protecting critical information assets.
- Expected to communicate effectively with internal customers and responds to requests for supporting information, including extensive audits.

Requirements:

- Must have 7-10+ years of IT Audit/Compliance experience
- Experience demonstrating skill monitoring and interpreting Cyber Security compliance regulations.
- Experience demonstrating skill developing and implementing compliance training.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts in order to operate large scale information system.
- Knowledge of Cyber Security concepts for protecting critical information assets.
- Experience demonstrating skill responding to requests for supporting information, including coordinating audits, supporting data requests and reporting.
- Experience demonstrating skill using PC based word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email software.
- Knowledge demonstrating skill coordinating with various internal/external individuals at all levels to report and track compliance data.
- Experience demonstrating skill managing projects to include development of scope, timeline, budget, and/or results.
