Experience of working in the banking industry would be a distinct advantage.
Other relevant experience may include:
- strong technical knowledge and experience of reviewing and testing:
o automated and manual (eg process) controls over business applications (including payment systems);
o general IT control processes; and
o configuration of operating systems (eg Wintel, Unix/Linux, HP NonStop), database management systems (eg Oracle and SQL Server) and data network components (eg Routers, Switches and Firewalls).
- good working knowledge of industry best practices (eg COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001/2); and
- reviewing and testing project management controls.
