IT Asset/Software Asset Project Manager

Location: Dublin
Duration: Contract
We are looking for an experienced project manager with a strong track record in the IT asset management area/Software Asset Management. The role is with a lead global insurance company based in Dublin. The successful candidate needs to ensure that the overall project objectives are clearly defined and met. There may also be a need to implement training sessions and development programs.
Responsibilities:
*Direct and lead project planning efforts
*Manage risk of execution and change
*Must be rigorous and be accountable project deadlines ensuring deliverables are to satisfactory quality
*Knowledge of IT hardware and software concepts, techniques, tools and specific applications
*Strong minded and able to negotiate successfully across the organisation, with external suppliers and stakeholders in a constructive and collaborative manner
Qualifications:
*PMP Certified, PRINCE II certified or equivalent certification
*Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Requirements:
*5 years project management experience
*1 years' experience managing asset management tools, frameworks and governance
