IT Asset Manager for Mobile Devices (Brussels)

Mobile devices (smart phones, tablets), Collaborative tools (social network, chat, visio on PC, etc) and e-Mail are very rapidly evolving solutions, for which much steering and coordination is requested. We need to organize the Management of those Assets for BNPP Fortis: management of the demand and of the projects, supervision of the operational activities, management of the architecture, financial, risks and security aspects. Also very important is to ensure that the communication between our suppliers and our business requestors must be optimized. We look for a person to assist our lead asset manager in these activities.

Function Description
Current situation regarding the concerned assets is:
° Mobile devices:
o currently based on iPhones and iPAD's
o specific needs for commercial functions
o offering also in strong evolution for managers and employees
o strong evolution expected at the level of company app store and the ability to support a fast growing number of internal app's
o possibility to adopt Windows Phones in 2016

° Collaboration tools:
o articulated around IBM Connections, for social networking, MS SharePoint as a document groupware and IBM Sametime for synchronous communication (chat, meeting rooms, WEB-video conference, …)
o roll-out to end-users in progress, much Change Management organized within the Bank
o migrations starting from legacy SharePoint to current version
o additional collaboration platform for usage from mobile devices : OODrive, implemented on premises
° e-Mail: the technical solution is based on MS Exchange and Outlook. It is evolving for topics such as legal aspects, archiving, spam, secure e-mail, etc

The technical solution is outsourced to an entity in the Group. We are in charge to manage the relation with this supplier entity and to ensure that the asset management is properly organized, in particular to oversee following aspects, mostly covered by our supplier:
° The technical architecture used by our provider to deliver the solutions and the evolution of these solutions
° The financials of the solutions, including the fact that solutions are adequate and stay competitive over time
° The security of the solutions. This is especially challenging in the adoption of new technologies which is at stake here
° The management of the change: migration plans, production changes, etc all contain certain risks which need to be properly managed
° The management of the operational solutions: the solutions need to be daily followed up, for auditability and for production reasons
We are also in charge of integrating the new demands expressed by our businesses. This means understanding all requests , discussing priorities, discussing the relevance of some requests and establish and follow-up a feasible roadmap taking all constraints (business, provider, products, finances, risks) into account. We are also in charge of following-up all projects and activities agreed.
The person working for this will work under supervision of an internal person.

5 years in equivalent function, supervising the use of such technologies
