IT Architect - z/OS Specialist

For one of my clients I am recruiting for an IT Architect - z/OS specialist for a contract job in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The job is for 6 months.

We are looking for the profile:

- Experienced IT Architect-z/OS specialist.
- Good knowledge and experience of IT Architecture methods and techniques.
- Be able to manage the process of producing IT architectures in a technically and organisationally complex environment.
- IBM Mainframe knowledge
- Deep experience with Mainframe infrastructure, application development and control of Mainframe architecture, Middleware and tooling.

In more detail:
- Deep knowledge of z-platform and z/OS technologies:
- LPAR, z/OS, Sysplex, CICS, CICSplex, Cobol, WebSphere MQ and queue sharing, DB2 on Z, DB2 and datasharing, ConnectDirect, Cobol JCL, batch processes, Message Broker (IBM Integration Bus), Tivoli Workload Scheduler, GDPS, Unicode, load libraries, Java on Z, WebSphere Application Server on Z, IDAA )
- Solid knowledge of application-development on z/OS and interaction with underlying infrastructure and middelware )
- Linux knowledge: experience with development and maintenance of Linux for z infrastructure and Middleware
