IT Architect/Software Engineer

Our leading international Semiconductor partner is looking for and IT Architect/Software Engineer. You will implement the data conversion tool, including connected ED header (data enrichment)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Implement data conversion tool, including connected ED header (data enrichment), all documented in an approved design document.
Responsible for all active subcons (11), successfully connected to conversion environment.
Transition run book: how to migrate new subcons into new data conversion service.
Updated track & trace tool - showing the data flow status of the updated process.
Service design specification, including RACI.
Data conversion tools - including file-handling.
Collect and include data from external sources/systems.
Enhance Track & Trace solution.
Define and setup standard reporting.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to detail out the solution design and develop the solutions
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in an international and fast changing organisation
Good understanding of large volume file based (ASCI, XML) data handling scripts typical for process oriented manufacturing organisations
Experience with Linux environments and Shell Scripting
Developer with IT background (non Embedded) with knowledge of PERL
Understanding of database interactions/query language
Architectural skills: conceptual thinking.
Team player
Good communication skills, especially within the project.
Able to work independently
